With us you’re in safe hands

The foundation for our work is provided by Regulation (EC) no. 300/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2002 on common rules in the field of civil aviation security and Commission Regulation (EU) no. 185/2017 of 4 March 2010 laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security, as well as all other laws.

Since December 2012 we’ve been using the largest certified x-ray machine (Smith Heimann 180x180x220 2is). Thanks to its tunnel dimensions of 177 cm (width) x 170 cm (height) and maximum load weight of 2500 kg, it is capable of screening even LD3 containers.

Prerequisites

Know-how puts us ahead

Our aviation safety officers Eva-Maria Schmidt (Managing Director) and Thomas Stumbaum (Operations Manager) are familiar with all regulations and laws regarding air freight safety. Both have successfully completed a 35-hour training course and have undergone safety checks in accordance with § 7 of the German Air Freight Safety Act. It goes without saying that further training is a continuous matter. Our other staff members, too, are regularly trained in air freight security topics and know what is important in this sensitive area.

In each of our process steps we ensure that all shipments are protected from unauthorised access after being handed over to us. Access to freight entrusted to us is permanently monitored. The receipt, processing and handling of the freight is undertaken solely by our specially trained staff.

Regulated agent status is connected with numerous demanding requirements, which guarantee maximum security for our customers and their freight.
